bossWith prise and thanksgiving to the presence of GOD ALMIGHTY, I warmly welcome launching of  “Official Site of BPS-Statistics Tanah Laut Regency”.

This is our efforts to follow the development of information technology in providing data for all parties so that data consumers could access data about Tanah Laut Regency anywhere, anytime.

Although we build this site in limitations, with a simple display, in future we'll try to renew it so the data always up to date. Therefore, we need constructive criticism and suggestions to improve the quality of this site.

For all parties who helped till launching of this site, we said thank you. Hopefully this site useful for all of us.

Tanah Laut Population 2010 (Preliminary Figures)

Based on the results of Population Census 2010, population of Tanah Laut are 296,282 person,  consisting of 152,426 male and 143,856 female. From that results we can see that Tanah Laut population distribution still concentrate in Pelaihari Subdistrict with 21.57 percent, than follow by Bati-Bati Subdistrict with 13.05 percent and Kintap Subdistrict with 12.88 percent, meanwhile another subdistrict below 10 percent.

With the area about 3,631.35 square kilometer that inhabited by 296,282 persons, Tanah Laut average population density are 82 person per square kilometer. Pelaihari Subdistrict has the highest population density in Tanah Laut with 168 person per square kilometer and than follow by Bati-Bati Subdistrict with 165 person per square kilometer. The lowest population density is Batu Ampar Subdistrict with 42 person per square kilometer.
