Abstract

• In December 2018, inflation occurred at 0.70 percent. The inflation rate for the 2018 calendar (December 2018 against December 2017) is 2.63 percent and the inflation rate for "year on year" is 2.63 percent. Commodities experiencing price increases with the highest share of inflation in the city of Banjarmasin include air transportation, broiler eggs, shallots, fresh bread, rent houses.

• In Tanjung City, in December 2018 inflation was 0.68 percent. The inflation rate for the calendar in 2018 (December 2018 against December 2017) inflation was 2.60 percent and the inflation rate of "year on year" was 2.60 percent. Commodities experiencing price increases with the highest share of inflation in Tanjung City include: shallots, broiler eggs, oranges, cork fish, tilapia.

• Out of 82 cities that calculated the consumer price index, there were 80 cities experiencing inflation, 2 cities experiencing deflation. The highest inflation in Kupang was 2.09 percent, and the lowest in Banda Aceh was 0.02 percent. The highest deflation in Sorong was 0.15 percent.
