South Kalimantan's exports in April 2019 decreased by 10.35 percent and imports increased by 66.13 percent

Abstract

• The value of exports through ports in South Kalimantan in April 2019 reached US$669.70 million, a decrease of 10.35 percent compared to exports in March 2019 which reached US$747.05 million and decreased 6.55 percent compared to the export value in March 2019.

exports in April 2018 which reached US$716.66 million. The group of goods commodities based on the 2-digit HS, which was exported the most was the mineral fuel group (HS 27) of US$604.07 million and the largest export destination country was China with a value of US$161.15 million.

• The import value of South Kalimantan in April 2019 was US$124.90 million, an increase of 66.13 percent compared to imports in March 2019 which reached US$75.18 million. Meanwhile, when compared to the import value in April 2018, this value increased by 33.28 percent, which at that time reached US$93.71 million. The most imported goods based on 2-digit HS were mineral fuels (HS 27) with US$100.72 million and the country of origin of imports with the largest value being Singapore with US$61.33 million.

• South Kalimantan's export-import trade balance in April 2019 was a surplus of US$544.80 million. Smaller than South Kalimantan's export-import trade balance last month which

surplus of US$671.87 million.
