Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) in July 2019 was 95.07 or down 0.41 percent

Abstract

• In July 2019 the South Kalimantan NTP was 95.07, down 0.41 percent compared to the June 2019 NTP which reached 95.47. The decline in NTP was due to the index of prices received by farmers (It) down 0.77 percent, while the price index paid by farmers (Ib) only decreased by 0.35 percent.
• In July 2019 in rural areas of South Kalimantan experienced a deflation of 0.52 percent, where the price index for the foodstuffs group decreased by 1.39 percent. While other groups rose around 0.05 - 0.41 percent.
• The exchange rate of South Kalimantan Agriculture Household Business (NTUP) in July 2019 is 104.33 smaller than NTUP the previous month, or down 0.96 percent.
• The average grain price of Dry Grain Harvest (GKP) quality at the farm level rose 2.06 percent, from Rp 5,172.27 per kg in June 2019 to Rp 5,278.64 per Kg in July 2019. Likewise the price of grain in the grinding rate rose 2.01 percent from Rp 5,260.54 per kg in June 2019 to Rp 5,366.46 per kg in July 2019.
